You don't need to be born with perfect pitch to hear music notes. Learning to hear notes and recognize the names of those notes takes time and practice. It may be that you never develop perfect pitch, which is the ability to hear a note and name it, but you can develop relative pitch: the ability to recognize musical intervals, match tones so you can play songs by ear and recognize notes within the context of a scale or song. This application helps you to test and review your ability to hear notes and recognize intervals, scales, chords and arpeggios. Using high quality samples of clean electric guitar and piano, this will for a fraction of the cost of traditional ear training courses, give you the tool you need to study on the go, when having a few minutes over or not being able to sit down with your normal instrument. Remember, nothing can really replace a real instrument when it comes to practice and review absolute pitch, but this will help you on the way. Melodic, interval, relative, harmonic can be tested and trained without any access to your instrument. Make sure that you download and try the Lite version before buying the full version so that you are sure that it runs fine on your device.
